The Department of Economics participates in the Day of Teaching, December 2 [30.11.22]
The Hohenheim “Day of Teaching” aims to get people talking about good teaching and to give ideas for developing teaching further. The Day of Teaching will be held for the first time this year and will be a hybrid event on Friday, 2 December beginning at 1 pm.
Let´s talk about Teaching
Under this year's motto 'Let's talk about teaching,’ all lecturers and those interested in teaching can exchange ideas about innovative and successful formats in teaching and learn from each other. Through your own contributions, you can actively participate in the design of the event and ensure its success. Students are also welcome to have their say.
In a panel discussion on the topic of 'Teaching 2030,' the President and the Vice President for Academic Affairs will discuss with all stakeholders the question of how teaching at Hohenheim can be set up in a modern and contemporary way in the future.
Prof. Thomas Beißinger will present a keynote speech on the topic "Use of quizzes in teaching" as a contribution to Good Practice: Digitally supported classroom teaching at 2.35pm.
At the end of the event, Prof. Benjamin Jung will take part in the discussion "Teaching 2030" at 3:45 pm.
