Closing of the Research Seminar [10.07.24]
With the lecture by Katrin Rehdanz from the University of Kiel, the research seminar for the summer semester term to a close.
Katrin Rehdanz is the Director of the Institute for Environmental, Resource and Spatial Economics at the University of Kiel. She has a wide array of research interests revolving around the issue of ensuring sustainable well-being. Her particular interests lie in the field of quantitative analysis using spatial explicit information and the valuation of non-market benefits and costs.
With her lecture The Effect of Temperature on Energy Use, CO2 Emissions,and Economic Performance in German Industy, the Research Seminar in Economics for the summer term comes to a close. During a reception, the presentations from the past semester were reflected upon and discussed together.
In October, the research seminar will start the winter term with a new program featuring lectures from excellent international scientists.
