Astrid Kunze is a Professor of Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen, Norway. Her research interests are in the fields of labour economics, micro-econometric methods and merged register data.

Topics she is currently working on include: How organisations build human capital. How family policy affects women’s careers and the gender gap. Understanding of whether family policy has changed firms’ production and the use of the input factor labor. Corporate boards and labour power.

In the summer term, excellent international scientists visit the University of Hohenheim in the research seminar and give lectures on their research. In addition to attending the lecture, there is often a special opportunity during office hours to exchange ideas with the guest, e.g. about their own research approaches.

Master's students are also welcome to take part in the research seminar and talk to the speakers as well as the doctoral students, postdocs and professors at the institute.

The lecture will take place on July 1, 2026 at 12:00 pm in HS 35 (Kavaliershaus).
