The Public Economics group at the University of Hohenheim conducts innovative research on how governmental institutions shape individual behavior. We provide an excellent academic environment for scholars interested in pursuing an independent research agenda and developing a strong academic career. We are seeking an

Assistant Professor (fixed-term) or Research Associate (m/f/d).

The preferred starting date is fall 2025, though we offer flexibility for the right candidate.
Our group investigates topics such as the economics of the public administration, tax enforcement and evasion, distributional preferences, and long-term effects of public policy, especially in declining regions. We are looking for a new team member with a strong drive to develop and advance their research agenda and actively contribute to our research activities.
