In the summer term 2025, the Brown Bag Seminar in Economics once again took place in a conference format. Young researchers from the Department of Economics at the University of Hohenheim presented their ongoing research.

Every term, the Brown Bag Seminar in Economics offers doctoral students and postdocs at the Department of Economics the opportunity to present and discuss their research ideas and results with each other and to exchange inspiration. In the summer term, the seminar is held in a conference format.
In the 2025 summer term, the seminar took place in May at the Stift Urach seminar center. The event gave the young academics the opportunity to practice presenting their work in front of an academic audience. In addition, the joint breaks and meals created the space to promote informal exchange and expand the network. The new doctoral students in particular were able to pick up many new perspectives, approaches and information.
