Simeon Schudy is a professor at the University of Ulm and a fellow of the CESifo research network. His research covers topics from labor and organizational economics, political economy, environmental economics and economic decision-making in general. In his work, he combines different empirical approaches using survey and administrative data, company data and experimental data (laboratory, online and field experiments) to answer research questions that are relevant to academics and practitioners alike. He is particularly interested in sustainable organizational structures in dynamic decision-making environments.

In the summer term, excellent international scientists visit the University of Hohenheim in the research seminar and give lectures on their research. In addition to attending the lecture, there is often a special opportunity during office hours to exchange ideas with the guest, e.g. about their own research approaches.

Master's students are also welcome to take part in the research seminar and talk to the speakers as well as the doctoral students, postdocs and professors at the institute.

The lecture will take place on April 9, 2025 at 12:00 pm in HS 35 (Kavaliershaus).
