Anna Hasselqvist is a PhD candidate at
LMU Munich and the ifo Institute, and affiliated with SOFI at Stockholm University. She conducts research in Labor Economics, with a focus on education, family and migration. Her current work investigates parental investments and gender gaps, the integration of migrant children and families, and issues related to family structure and child custody. In the fall of 2025 she will be joining the Crime, Labor and Inequality Department at DIW Berlin.

In the summer semester, excellent international scientists visit the University of Hohenheim in the research seminar and give lectures on their research. In addition to attending the lecture, there is often a special opportunity during office hours to exchange ideas with the guest, e.g. about their own research approaches.

Master's students are also welcome to take part in the research seminar and talk to the speakers as well as the doctoral students, postdocs and professors at the institute.

The lecture will take place on April 23, 2025 at 12:00 pm in HS 35 (Kavaliershaus)
