Brown Bag Seminar in Economics [10.07.24]
In this summer term, the Brown Bag Seminar in Economics for the PhD students of the Department of Economics was organized in a conference format in the Tagungshaus der Landeszentrale für politischen Bildung in Bad Urach.
In the Brown Bag Seminar, our early-career researchers have the opportunity to present their research work and agenda. They benefit from the feedback and new impulses of the other participants as well as from the accompanying Professors Nadja Dwenger and Aderonke Osikominu.
The conference format with a specific focus on research offered everyone a unique opportunity to engage in in-depth exchanges outside the everyday university work environment, for example, during the joint Research - Walk and Talk.
The feedback from the young researchers regarding the event was overwhelmingly positive. The seminar was rated as particularly intensive and enriching, and there were calls for the event to be repeated next year.
