Dr. oec. Vincent Dekker

Dr. oec. Vincent Dekker is a PostDoc at the University of Hohenheim, working at the Chair of Public Economics. His main research interests are related to empirical methods for policy and household behaviour analysis. Another major topic of his research is the analysis of the behaviour of firms with regards to tax incentives.

Dr. Dominik Hartmann

Dr. Dominik Hartmann is a research fellow at the University of Leipzig and an external research associate of the Fraunhofer Center of International Management and Knowledge Economy and the University of Hohenheim. His research analyzes the relationships between innovation, structural economic change, and income inequality. Dr. oec. Micha Kaiser

Micha Kaiser holds a Master’s degree in Economics and is currently working as a PostDoc of the University of Hohenheim. As a member of the Institute for Health Care & Public Management, Micha has a broad interest in many different fields of health and labor economics. For instance, some of his research focuses on the relationship between unemployment and different kinds of health behavior or on the impact of non-maternal care on the subjective well-being of children.

Dr. oec. Vadim Kufenko

Dr. oec. Vadim Kufenko is responsible for the coordination of the research area INEPA and is working as a research assistant at the University of Hohenheim, at the Chair of Growth and Distribution. His main research interests include empirical analysis, estimator efficiency, anthropometric inequality, global inequality and wage gaps. Together with coauthors he has published in journals like Economics of TransitionJournal of Population ResearchScientometrics, and Economics and Human Biology. Dr. Henning Mühlen

Dr. Henning Mühlen is a postdoctoral research associate at the Chair of  International Economics. His research interests are related to international trade, foreign direct investments and development economics. He has publications in journals like Kyklos and the Journal of Development Studies. Dr. Peng Nie

Dr. Peng Nie is a postdoctoral research associate at the Chair of Household and Consumer Economics. He is intensively researching diverse topics in the fields of health economics, health inequality, and subjective well-being. Dr. Steffen Otterbach

Steffen Otterbach is Post-doctoral Researcher and Lecturer at the Institute for Health Care & Public Management, University of Hohenheim. With a specialization in empirical economics his research focuses on the impact of working conditions (e.g. working time and mismatches between actual and desired working hours) on health and wellbeing. His research interests also include food security and nutrition aspects in developing countries. He is a research fellow at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA), and his work has appeared in Social Indicators Research, China Economic Review, and Scandinavian Journal of Work, Environment and Health. M.Sc. Mirjam Reutter

M.Sc. Mirjam Reutter is a PhD student at the University of Hohenheim associated at the Chair of Econometrics and Empirical Economics. Dr. rer. pol. Gregor Pfeifer

Dr. rer. pol. Gregor Pfeifer is a postdoctoral research associate at the Chair of Econometrics and Empirical Economics. His main research focus is on applied microeconometrics, concentrated on public, labor/education, and health economics with a particular interest in policy evaluation. Dr. rer. pol. Davud Rostam-Afschar

Dr. rer. pol. Davud Rostam-Afschar researches and teaches economics as assistant professor (Akademischer Rat) at the University of Hohenheim. His research has primarily focused on consumption and saving behavior, labor supply decisions, and tax and transfer systems, with an emphasis on reconciling the empirical evidence from both microeconomic and macroeconomic sources with theoretical models. His work appeared in economics journals like the Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Empirical Economics, and Public Finance Analysis.
